Safety Centre

Screened before you meet. Protected while you talk.

Cross-border relationships attract people who want money, documents, or leverage. This house is built to catch them early — and to make it easy for you to raise a concern without shame.

Verification

Nobody is introduced unverified.

Identity

Email and phone verification, government identification, selfie matching, and live video verification, reviewed by a Verification Officer.

Documents

Stored privately with signed, expiring links. Documents are never shown to another member and expire from active review.

Optional Checks

Background screening where offered, pastoral or community references, employment verification, and divorce-status verification.

Absolute Rule

Never send any of these to a match.

No legitimate member of this house will ever ask you for them — and no explanation makes it acceptable.

Financial solicitation, sponsorship hunting, and immigration pressure are Red classifications. They reach the Director and the Safety Officer immediately, and messaging may be paused while the case is reviewed.

Guidance

Meeting well, online and in person.

Online

  • Keep calls on the platform's video link during the first weeks
  • Do not share your home address, workplace, or financial details
  • Be wary of urgency, secrecy, and requests to move to private apps
  • Screenshot anything that concerns you before responding

In Person

  • Meet in a public place and tell someone you trust where you are
  • Arrange your own travel, accommodation, and return
  • Never let a first meeting depend on the other person's money
  • Notify the house before travelling for a first in-person meeting

Safety Questions

Frequently asked.

How do I report a member?+

Open the connection in your portal and select Report. Describe what happened and attach evidence if you have it. A Safety Officer reviews every report, and messaging can be paused while the case is open.

How do I block someone?+

Blocking is available inside the connection at any time and is immediate. You are never required to keep communicating with someone you have blocked or reported.

What if my match asks for money?+

Report it immediately, even if the request sounds urgent or sympathetic. Financial solicitation is grounds for suspension, and any weekly report mentioning money or immigration pressure is escalated to the Director.

What if I feel pressured about immigration or relocation?+

Say so in your weekly report or request support directly. Immigration and sponsorship pressure is treated as a safety matter, not a preference difference.

Is my private reporting confidential?+

Yes. Weekly reports, journals, assessments, and messages to the Director are visible only to you and authorised staff, and every staff access is written to an audit trail.

What if there is an emergency?+

Contact your local emergency services first. This platform is not an emergency service, and medical, legal, immigration, and clinical matters may require referral to qualified professionals.

Safety is part of the programme, not an afterthought.
