Our Reason
This house was not designed in a boardroom. It grew out of a marriage that had to learn two cultures on purpose.
The Beginning
Fabiola Robert is Haitian. Akinwande Robert is Nigerian. Between them sit two languages, two culinary traditions, two ways families give and receive respect, two wedding customs, and one shared faith. Nothing about their marriage worked by accident. It worked because they asked each other the hard questions early, and kept asking them.
They watched serious single believers across the Haitian and Nigerian diaspora — in Toronto, Miami, London, Lagos — do the opposite. Endless conversations with no direction. Dating apps that rewarded attention rather than intention. Scams and immigration arrangements dressed up as romance. Marriage-minded adults quietly losing years.
The Response
Haiti Meets Nigeria: 90 Days to Covenant is the structure they wished had existed: applications read by a person, identity verified before introduction, one connection at a time, thirteen weeks of formation covering faith, family, money, culture, conflict and relocation, private weekly reporting, and a clear decision on Day 90.
Fabiola Robert serves as a Mental Health Practitioner (Non-Medical) and a Youth and Family Development Practitioner (Non-Clinical). Akinwande Robert serves as a Pastor and a Couples Development Practitioner. Together they carry the pastoral and developmental weight of the house while remaining plain about its limits: this is guidance and formation, not therapy, and never a promise of marriage.
