Kingdom marriage: two callings, one covenant

Marriage as assignment, not achievement.

Reading

Take your time with it.

Scripture does not present marriage as a reward for good behaviour. It presents it as a covenant with a purpose: two people becoming one flesh and carrying something together that neither could carry alone.

That means the question is never only "is this person good for me?" It is "is there a shared assignment here, and are we both willing to pay for it?"

Practically: what would you build together? Who would you serve? What would your home be known for? If the honest answer is "I have not thought about it," start there this week.
